Again, Zoog Disney. lost my mind when they premiered this. I remember seeing the UK version on the Brit List and was unaware of them refilming it.. so seeing it unexpectedly was awesome.. then buying the single at FYE for 0.99 and it had 6 songs on it too... damn that was some good stuff.

There was one summer where I watched Disney's Model Behaviour starring Justin Timberlake EVERYDAY!
at the dance at the end of the movie Nobody's Angel sang this song and danced oddly to it due to editing.. i remember thinking at that moment: this is going to be the best girlgroup ever... cuz they're crazies.. and sing like robots..

Also during the summer of 2000 in Pittsburgh my nieces and I saw this movie in the theatres. I was so excited to see it too. I loved the First Movie's soundtrack and then living for the day that this soundtrack got released... it wasn't as good but had some cool stuff on it like D2m and this one..

There was a summer where Tasha, Jasper, Anna and I decided to pay this song and dance aroudn to it.. then she passed away. it was sad, but I'm so glad we could enjoy this song and I have a feeling that is what Lisa would have wanted as her Eye Legacy.

This reminds me of the summer where we went to the $2.00 theatre at Scartown just because we could. I remember going to see pokemon the movie JUST so we could watch Pikachu's vacation. it was the best part. Also remembering: giant pixie stix, sharing mcdonalds fries, efads toys (pre-dollarama). Me Lerone Natasha. and the occasional adder on. so much fun.

2001. June. Kuha Adr became Kuha Jones. Miss Morra's class gym assignment. what was amazing was that we all had fun. i learned how to make mixes of songs, how to choreograph a routine, how to deal with pressure involved in the creation of that routine... it was kind of like the bootcamp episodes of Popstars and i was the Nicole Scherzinger and Julie from Sugar Jones.
We did the routine to Eden's Crush's Get Over Yourself (Goodbye) and incorporated some hot 2001 moves.. the bye bye bye anyone....

I really wanted to post Jimmy's Got A Girlfriend but couldn't find it on youtube. sadface. I would watch that video when I would spend summers at my aunt's in Pittsburgh. good times.
Anyway, I bought their album Highway and would walk to the store listening to it. Which meant LA and Little Girl and then I'd be at my destination. i also spent a lot of time watching marathons of their "reality" show on cmt..

I work in an office.. then i come home and sleep. then repeat. my life is like a shampoo cycle.

I liked doing July as a Canadian music appreciation month. Having a theme makes things easier for me, so August will be summer songs. Songs that remind me of the summer. Canadian Idol did this as a theme once and i thought thats a cool theme because it places no boundaries on genre.. except no Christmas music.
The first song will describe this summer for me: LONG HOT SUMMER. No AC at home so i'm glad to be staying with my mom for some time.
I love this song because Cheryl and Nadine do the verses and the other three get time to shine singing the rest of the song. Yay Kimberley!
