She won!!! I have never picked the next star winner, or i have picked them but wasn't rooting for them. this summer, she stole my heart when she changed her name then with her weird singing/lip synching, then when she filmed that awesome video. she is awesome and i hope she does well after this!

It was a hard day at work. Saw this with a coworker and her friend at the Lower Ossington Theatre. it was cool. i loved how a show could heal a bad day.

So they lost the Smash Hits award for best touring band. I mean fair, Westlife (then West side) won and they deserve it now because tehy took over teh pop world with chair pop but c'mon. THIS against swear it again... THIS WINS obvi!

They wrote their own music and DANCED.. unlike westlife... a1 was the the nominated group and they were cool too...

Billie Piper championed Westlife, Steps championed a1, and Kavana for Mytown.. By loyalty i should be rooting for a1.. but MYTOWN!

A little over a year ago i was in New York for the first time. Walking to ground zero was painful. I remember hearing about the tragedy during art class and not knowing what to think. It took me ten years to realize the pain. I cried on the streets and didn't really want to do anything for the rest of the day. 10 years later, my heart still goes out to all those who were in pain and how that they were able to pull themselves from their pain and move into a loving future.

Sometimes I have to, like Nelly said: "lift [my] hands in the air and cry for a switch".

So... I was two when Love and Rockets originally released this song. I became familiar with the song when it was used in The Rules of Attraction.

I think I liken that movie to my experience in highschool.. not because things happened at school, but because I read the book, saw the movie, bought the movie during highschool.

And now Duncan has covered it and released it on his covers album and has done so beautifully. i feel that he took out the sultryness of it and replaced it with a more lethargic desire. which i enjoy much more.
