So... I was two when Love and Rockets originally released this song. I became familiar with the song when it was used in The Rules of Attraction.

I think I liken that movie to my experience in highschool.. not because things happened at school, but because I read the book, saw the movie, bought the movie during highschool.

And now Duncan has covered it and released it on his covers album and has done so beautifully. i feel that he took out the sultryness of it and replaced it with a more lethargic desire. which i enjoy much more.
